There are four User Account types in PathoTrainer:
Importantly, all user types can be either a Trainee or a Supervisor in a Training Session, - more on that here.
Below you will find a detailed explanations of each role, and a permission breakdown by User Type.
The User accounts have access to view Training Sessions they have been invited to.
The User account has no access to the Content Management sidebar, meaning they aren't able setup new projects, create case collections, design data capture forms or setup sessions.
Project owners can configure projects, create case collections, assign data capture forms to their case collections, and invite participants to training sessions they own.
However they cannot create new accounts with Project Owner, Supervisor or Administrator roles, manage users outside of the context of their own projects, or suspend accounts.
As an administrator, you have all the rights of Project Owners, with the additional rights of being able to manage users fully including removing and suspending accounts, and creating new users with any role, including Administrator.
Obvserver is a great role for foolproof monitoring. With this role, you can see everything that an administrator does with none of the responsibility.
An account with this role can see everything, but cannot (accidentally) change any content or user settings.
