PIMS does not require software installation on your device. All that is needed to use PIMS is an internet browser to connect to your installation. All common internet browsers (Edge, Google, Safari, Bing,..) will allow to operate PIMS.

Routine high speed internet connections for domestic private use are sufficient to support the webviewing. For extra verification for teleworkers we recommend to run a speedtest and check if round trip and download times are good (< 60ms &, <25Mbps respectively)considering home network Wifi configuration and simultaneous could potentially impact user experience. The speedtest is a software service we can provide to users if needed. PIMS is intended to be used with at least 2 monitors in a side by side configuration. We recommend to use one monitor for your worklist screen and a separate dedicated monitor for viewing images. Although Pathomation does not recommend a specific type or model of display monitor the final user perception of the image quality is affected by the quality of the display. The user perception is a combined result of display sharpness, brightness, flickering and other factors.
