Our philosophy is to give Pathologists a 'clean desk', meaning no physical slide trays, no papers with clinical information, no microscopes cluttering their office.

This starts with a case worklist where you find just the information you need. The worklist links the data sent from your LIS, EMR and staining platforms to the scanned images and presents it in an easy tabular view. The worklist allows you to filter and search, more importantly it has configurable queries for all your recurrent needs.

The viewer opens from the case number in the worklist in a second browser window so you can work over 2 displays. PIMS has patient safety in mind by design. As a pathologist you can only work on and view one case at a time, the worklist and view windows are always synchronised.

PIMS comes with a dedicated pathology cockpit interface where all the tools required for daily work are available. We know how fast you need to work so we have minimised the number of clicks and provide you with no delay image viewing speed.

You can interact with the WSI in a one slide view, open multiple individual slides, switch to full screen view and see all images at once in an 'eagle' collated view. The viewer includes a standard annotation menu suitable for pathology work. The viewer integrates with the workflow. If you collaborate with others you can also leave notes with images and cases, assigning your case to another pathologist for review is a one click step. Your colleague will then get the case in their worklist.
