Users have multiple options available to upload slides. You can do this starting from your My Pathomation account or from PMA.start, our free viewer software for desktop use.
When working in your My Pathomation account you have two options:
1. via the upload button in a drag and drop style
Adding a new slide can be easily done via the upload container by clicking on “Upload” button located on main header of My Pathomation
or inside an empty folder
Before starting the upload you can change destination folder by clicking on “Upload To” link.
To launch a new upload, you can either :
Once the slide is successfully uploaded, the gallery and the remote tree get updated to reflect the new changes.
2. via the 'my pc' section
This approach allows for browsing your pc file folders and then transferring the slides you need to My Pathomation. For this to work you need to install PMA.start, if PMA start is not installed you will get a prompt to install it.
Follow steps 1-4 to upload slides in the my pc section
You can also use the file transfer function in PMA.start for uploading to My Pathomation.
This is described in this section https://docs.pathomation.com/pma.start/doku.php?id=upload. PMA.start is your best option if you have slides in various server locations, want to manage uploading multiple files at once or require upload of complex multi-file whole slide image formats like .mrxs.
