There are several options available for users to upload slides from local disks to the My Pathomation cloud.
1. The blue upload button
If you only have one or a few slides to upload, using the blue upload button is the easiest way to get started.
This upload functionality lets you drag and drop images from your local folders or click and navigate to select an image in your local folders.
A limitation of this method is that some whole slide image types have a complex folder structure (.mrxs, .isyntax,…) and are not compatible with the drag and drop approach.
2. the my pc / my Pathomation transfer function
My Pathomation also works as a viewer for local images. You can see the local folder structure in the 'my pc' tab and open all the images stored on your hard disk or USB memories. The 'my pc' tab also allows to select images and transfer them to the 'my pathomation' cloud storage.
3. the upload function in PMA.start
To explore this function we refer to the PMA.start wiki page https://docs.pathomation.com/pma.start/doku.php?id=upload
