Using the tree view the user can navigate through the available directories.

The dropdown menu in the top left part of the tree view provides convenient access to certain managerial tasks related to the image management view.

This menu takes you to the root directory manager.

Whether you want to verify a directory's content through the Windows Explorer, or are building a script in Jupyter, there are number of reasons where it is useful to readily have a full path to a particular directory hierarchy available. This function does exactly that.
